Guaranteeing Safety and Compliance: Hazardous Waste Management in SMCC
Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. (SMCC) conducted hazardous waste hauling operations at Calumpit Main Yard, demonstrating our commitment to responsible environmental management.
SMCC is partnered with reputable DENR Accredited Third-Party Transporters and Treatment, Storage, and Disposal (TSD) Facilities that have specialization in hazardous waste management.
As a generator of these hazardous wastes, we ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and that risks are minimized throughout the transportation process and hauling operations are conducted efficiently and safely.
To uphold transparency and regulatory compliance, SMCC has uploaded permits issued by relevant authorities for each hazardous waste disposal activity. These permits serve as proof of our adherence to environmental laws and demonstrate our approach to ensuring that hazardous materials are managed safely and responsibly.
SMCC oversees all aspects of hazardous waste hauling, from initial packaging and labeling to transportation and final disposal or treatment. We adhere strictly to local and international regulations governing hazardous waste management, maintaining transparency and accountability in our operations. By prioritizing safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship, SMCC continues to uphold its commitment to sustainable construction practices and community well-being.
